Tracking clear skies and roller coaster temperatures

TODAY: A cold front is actively moving through the region as I type this early Tuesday morning. This front will leave us dry and cool, with highs forecast near 70. Very low humidity settles into the region via a north breeze that may gust to 20-30 mph at times.

TONIGHT: Clear and calm conditions settle in overnight, dropping lows into the 40s.

EXTENDED: After a chilly start, south winds and sunshine boost us into the 70s Wednesday, and 80s on Thursday. Another cold front knocks us back into the upper 70s over the weekend, but no rain chances return.
