Tracking overnight scattered showers before a drier weekend

TONIGHT: Scattered showers remain over the eastern half of Mid-Missouri from Boone county and east as the remnants of Helene spin to the east along a larger low pressure system. Winds remain breezy with gusts up to 32 mph. Lows cool to the lower 60s.

TOMORROW: Saturday remains mostly cloudy with a chance of a few light isolated showers possible. Highs top out into the mid-70s with winds gusting into the mid-20s.

EXTENDED: Sunday sees partly cloudy skies following into Monday with highs creeping up towards 80. A dry cold front moves through the region Monday night leading to a small cool down Tuesday and Wednesday into the lower 70s. The second half of the week sees continuous sunshine and highs into the upper 70s.
