Tracking isolated overnight showers with a sunny Wednesday

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the mid-50s with isolated chances of showers and patchy fog.

TOMORROW: Wednesday welcomes drier conditions with mostly sunny skies. Winds remain out of the northeast at 5 mph. Highs increase into the mid-70s.

EXTENDED: Thursday remains mostly dry with cloud cover building greatly as the day continues on. Thursday evening welcomes chances of showers which looks to increase into the later overnight hours. Showers continue lasting through Sunday with the heaviest bands of rainfall expected Friday and Saturday. Remnants of Helene will force our current low pressure system back overhead leading to these widespread rain chances. We look to dry out by Monday. Highs remain into the mid to lower 70s.
