Tracking limited rain and hot temperatures this week

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with an isolated storm before midnight. Lows in the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Hot and partly cloudy with a pop up storm possible. Highs in the mid-80s.

EXTENDED: Summer like weather sticks around unfortunately as a blocking pattern holds on for much of the week ahead. A few spot storms are possible on Monday as a disturbance rolls through during the peak heating hours of the afternoon with instability in place, but widespread meaningful rain isn't expected. As upper high pressure hangs out over the Great Lakes most of the week, we won't see much precipitation and temperatures will be slightly above average with highs in the mid-upper 80s and lows in the 60s through next weekend.
