Tracking a warm up tomorrow followed by a few storms late tomorrow night
TONIGHT: Mostly clear with patchy river valley fog. Lows in the lower 60s.
TOMORROW: Hot and humid with highs in the upper 80s. Late day clouds increasing.
EXTENDED: Thursday will be the hottest day of the week as warm southwest winds push in more moisture ahead of a cold front that will move in Thursday night. Highs reach the upper 80s to almost 90 in the afternoon, but the cold front will bring a chance for a few showers and storms overnight, with rain exiting southeast early on Friday morning. We'll see cooler temperatures by Friday afternoon as drier air moves in, with highs in the mid-70s. The weekend looks wonderful with cooler air centered to our northeast, keeping temperatures almost 15 degrees below average on Saturday and Sunday. Morning temperatures will be coolest on Sunday morning as lows dip into the upper 40s. Upper high pressure begins to build in from the west again next week, with heat returning and highs back into the 80s by Tuesday. Very limited rain is expected through the next week to 10 days.
