Tracking a brief warm up before light rain and a cool down to end the week

TONIGHT: Gradually decreasing clouds with lows in the mid-50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the low to mid-80s.

EXTENDED: Clouds gradually decrease tonight with lows yet again falling to the mid-50s. Tomorrow will start a brief warming trend as winds try to shift more east/southeasterly and temperatures get into the mid-80s. By Thursday night, we'll be tracking a cold front that could bring a few showers late in the evening through early Friday, with any rain exiting south of I-44 before lunch time on Friday. Rain amounts will be meager, with less than 0.1" to 0.2" likely. The weekend looks excellent with highs in the low 70s, and we'll see temperatures dip into the upper 40s in many spots on Saturday night. The heat looks to return next week, with limited rain in the forecast.
