Tracking another cool night, warming up mid-week
TONIGHT: Mostly clear with river valley fog possible. Lows in the mid-50s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with some afternoon clouds. Highs in the upper 70s.
EXTENDED: We can expect a cool night as lows dip into the mid-50s and potential river valley fog again in the morning. Tomorrow is similar with highs in the upper 70s and plenty of sunshine along with some late day clouds. Wednesday is warmer as we see southwest winds push us back into the lower to mid-80s through Thursday, but a strong low pressure system to our north brings impacts by late Thursday. A cold front slides in on Thursday night, bringing the chance of rain and a few storms through early Friday. As the front clears the region on Friday night, we won't have much more than a trace of rainfall but cooler air looks to settle in for the weekend as highs only reach the lower 70s. We could see a few places dip into the 40s on Saturday night. Heading into next week, the pattern looks drier than average, but temperatures begin to warm again as upper high pressure builds back over the region.Â
