Tracking dangerous heat into the workweek

TODAY: An isolated shower or two is possible in the morning but clouds and rain will exit quickly. Temperatures warm back to the lower 90s with the heat index nearing 100 degrees.

TOMORROW: Heat gets worse on Monday with constant sunshine and more humidity. The heat index will top out at 105.

EXTENDED: Dangerous heat lasts through Wednesday before rain chances begin to pick back up. There is a chance to see storm activity on Wednesday but better rain comes Thursday into Friday as a cold front is set to track through the area. This cold front will bring relief by the end of the week with high temperatures in the low 80s next weekend.
