Tracking a cooler and cloudier Sunday

TODAY: The morning starts out bright and mild in the mid-60s. Clouds streaming in this afternoon limit highs to the mid-80s. Rain stays west today thanks to dry air locally but a few raindrops might make it to the ground in Sedalia or The Lake area this evening.

TOMORROW: Temperatures are a tad cooler for Monday even with more sunshine with highs in the lower 80s. Winds out of the north will be light between 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: Persistent northerly winds through the first half of the week keep temperatures below average with some days struggling to reach 80 degrees. This pattern breaks down late week as winds turn out of the south bringing back summer heat and humidity. Rain chances remain low through the forecast.
