Tracking mostly dry and cooler weather to start the week

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clear and calm conditions across central Missouri with temperatures dropping into the mid 60s by the end of the night. Winds will be out of the north at 5-8 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking partly cloudy conditions for most as a system moves in from the west throughout the afternoon. Our western most counties could see rainfall, but most will stay dry and warm up into the mid 80s by the afternoon hours. Winds will stay out of the north at 5-8 mph.

EXTENDED: A dry pattern is expected next week as high pressure dominates the area. This will keep winds northerly throughout the first half of next week, leading to temperatures only getting into the low 80s each afternoon. The second half of the week, slightly warmer weather makes a return as temperatures start to climb into the mid to upper 80s. Plenty of sunshine is expected throughout all of the extended forecast period.
