QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you wear sunscreen when you’re not at the beach?

Mid-Missouri is going to be baking in the heat to start this week.

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team has called a Weather Alert Day for Monday and Tuesday because of heat indexes that will surpass 100 degrees. Part of that mix is the sun's intensity, with Monday's UV index expected to hit 10.

Skin can be damaged at that sun intensity in just minutes, according to experts. Dermatologists recommend using sunscreen any day you're spending any time outside. Yet most people only use it on special occasions.

When do you use sunscreen? Vote in the poll.
