Tracking a steady pattern of summer heat this week

THIS MORNING: Mild to start in the 70s with a steady southerly breeze. Temperatures will warm quickly to the 90s by noon.

TODAY: High temperatures reach the lower 90s with the heat index in the upper 90s. An isolated storm or two is possible.

EXTENDED: Highs remain in the 90s all week and peak near 95 by Saturday. A cold front could bring a chance for some showers and storms through Sunday, potentially bringing a little relief.
