Tracking calmer conditions into the weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: Thursday is cooler and somewhat breezy with a cold front tracking out. Highs will be in the 70s with a steady northwest breeze up to 15 mph.

TONIGHT: Clouds may be more noticeable overnight, and some may see a quick passing light shower. Otherwise, we're mostly dry with lows in the low 50s.

EXTENDED: Friday will be a near-repeat with highs remaining below average in the lower 70s. Saturday will be similar as well with more time to get outside. Our next rain chances could arrive at the earliest on Mother's Day on Sunday. You should have time to head out with Mom with the best rain chances later in the evening. This grows into Monday when our rain chances are greatest. We may have a few rumbles of thunder late Sunday and Monday, but severe weather is not currently expected. Rain chances linger, but are uncertain towards the middle of next week.
