Tracking a sunny and cooler weekend ahead

TODAY: Afternoon highs climb into the lower 60s as winds continue out of the north at 8-12 mph and gusts up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: Saturday begins cooler than average into the lower 40s before highs rise near 60 degrees. Skies remain mostly sunny with winds out of the northwest at 8-12 mph and gusts up to 22 mph.

EXTENDED: Sunday morning sees the possibility of frost, flowers and other younger plants should be covered or moved indoors to ensure continued health of the plants. Sunday sees mostly sunny skies once again before highs climb into the lower 60s. Monday welcome more sunshine with winds switching out of the southwest leading to a slight warming trend with highs nearing 70 degrees. Tuesday and Thursday welcome more chances of showers and weaker storms.
