Tracking sunshine Friday and a big warm up over the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and breezy with lows in the upper 30s to around 40.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the mid-upper 60s.

EXTENDED: After a breezy Thursday, winds continue to gust up to around 25 mph from the northwest on Friday, so despite ample sunshine, temperatures look to remain in the 60s. We'll see a big warm up over the weekend as the upper level winds shift back to the southwest, sending in warmer air and more moisture to the region. We'll see highs in the lower 80s on both Saturday and Sunday with winds up to around 20-25 mph. Next week will be anywhere from 10-15 degrees warmer than normal each day, and dew points rise into the lower 60s. As a cold front moves in on Monday, we'll see a chance of storms by late afternoon into the evening. A few of those have the potential to be strong into early Tuesday morning. That will likely bring us anywhere from about 0.5" to 1" of rain, with another round possible late in the week.
