Tracking a warmer Friday with a few showers

TONIGHT: Mostly clear, lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Increasing clouds and breezy with highs in the upper 60s. Chance of a few showers by late afternoon with less than a tenth of an inch of rain expected.

EXTENDED: Temperatures aren't as cool tonight as we drop into the upper 30s to around 40 as a warm front lifts north. That will help get us into the upper 60s tomorrow. I'll be tracking a cold front that increases clouds through the day and brings a rain chance by late afternoon. Rain amounts will end up less than a tenth of an inch, but we'll be cooler behind the front with highs in the lower 50s on Saturday. Sunday brings a bit of a warm up, but another cold front moves in and brings rain and a storm or two overnight into Monday. After the cold front passes on Monday night, it will be chilly with temperatures dropping to near freezing on Tuesday morning and only reaching the upper 40s by afternoon. Cooler high pressure sticks around on Wednesday, keeping temperatures in the lower to mid-50s. Toward the end of the week as we get closer to the holiday weekend, highs reach the 60s again on Thursday, but a stronger low pressure system could bring more rain to the area.
