ABC 17 Stormtrack Severe Weather Special set to air live on March 15

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Severe Weather Special will air live on Friday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. on KMIZ.

In the special, the ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team will help viewers prepare for spring with stories covering everything from watches and warnings, to what conditions Chief Meteorologist Jessica Hafner is tracking for the season ahead.

The team will also look at what local utility companies are doing to keep your lights on as storm-related power outages increase across the country and why there's a lack of storm shelters in central Missouri as tornadic activity rises.

If you have questions about weather or what to expect this spring, send them to weather@kmiz.com and your questions could be answered live during the weather special.
