Tracking more sunshine Wednesday, rain returning Thursday and Friday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and chilly before clearing overnight. Lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

TOMORROW: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 50s.

EXTENDED:  Clouds look to hold for at least this evening before clearing out tomorrow, leaving us cool for the morning as lows drop to near 40 by Wednesday morning. Tomorrow afternoon is a bit warmer as we get back into the upper 50s. A moisture-heavy low pressure system moves in from the southwest on Thursday, bringing widespread rain that continues into Friday. A few embedded thunderstorms are possible on Friday afternoon as the front passes through, but severe weather isn't expected. Precipitation will range between 1-1.5" of beneficial rainfall. Rain pushes out by late Friday or early Saturday morning, leaving us with a colder start to the weekend as high temperatures only make the upper 40s. Sunday brings more sunshine and highs in the upper 50s before high pressure is overhead for the start of next week, pushing us into the mid-upper 60s.
