Tracking a chilly last week of 2023, rain and snow chances

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 20s to around 30.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with gusty winds and late night showers and/or snow showers possible. Highs in the lower 40s.

EXTENDED: Clouds stick around in the wake of low pressure that brought rain all weekend on Tuesday. Gusty winds could kick up to 20-25 mph with temperatures remaining in the 40s, so it will continue to be chilly after the holiday. Tuesday night, low pressure begins to move in in from the northwest and bring a chance at precipitation. Given the timing, it could start out as rain then switch to snow overnight, leaving a dusting of snow on grassy surfaces by Wednesday night. Light snow or rain showers continue early Wednesday with highs in the mid-30s before skies clear out early Thursday. We'll continue to see temperatures near seasonal normals with highs in the lower 40s and lows in the upper 20s through the end of the week. The weekend looks chilly with highs in the lower 40s and more sunshine.
