Tracking a stretch of pleasant weather this week

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and chilly with lows in the upper 20s to around 30.

TOMORROW: Decreasing clouds and a little warmer than average with highs in the upper 40s to around 50.

EXTENDED: Clouds roll in tonight as a weak disturbance pushes through Mid-Missouri, keeping temperatures in the upper 20s and preventing much frost development. High pressure pushes east across the region tomorrow, allowing temperatures to bounce back above average near 50, and clouds clear early. Tuesday and Wednesday are a touch cooler in the mid-40s as a weak front slides through, but no precipitation is expected. The jet stream is largely west to east most of the week, keeping most disturbances on the weaker side and temperatures slightly above average. We can expect highs in the lower 50s through the end of the week into the weekend with mostly sunny skies.
