Tracking rising temperatures with weekend rain

TODAY: Afternoon highs warm into the upper 40s as winds remain out of the southwest at 8-12 mph. Skies remain mostly sunny.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the mid to upper 30s with mostly clear skies. Winds remain out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: Thursday sees partly cloudy skies as highs soar into the lower 60s. Friday welcomes warmer temperatures once again near 60 degrees or just below with chances of showers and some possible thunder. Friday afternoon, showers move in from the west becoming more widespread by the late overnight hours before pulling east by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures drop significantly following the passing cold front only reaching into the lower 40s for Sunday's high. Dry conditions persist throughout the rest of the forecast into next Wednesday.
