Tracking dry weather for travel, pleasant Thanksgiving

TONIGHT: Gradual clearing and cold with lows in the upper 20s to around 30.

TOMORROW: Sunny and cool with highs in the upper 40s.

EXTENDED:  Expect clear skies overnight that will allow temperatures to drop by morning into the upper 20s to around 30. Plenty of sunshine is in the cards for Wednesday with high pressure keeping us clear, with highs in the upper 40s. Thanksgiving Day is looking pleasant, and will be our warmest day of the week as highs get into the lower 50s. Clouds roll in during the day Thursday ahead of a weak cold front that will bring chillier temperatures for Friday. Still, we remain dry with highs in the lower 40s through Saturday. Saturday evening, our next disturbance moves in and will bring a cold rain to much of Mid-Missouri along with the potential for some light snow mixing in for areas north of Highway 24. Impacts aren't expected as ground temperatures remain warm and snowfall rates will be low. Sunday is cloudy and chilly after precipitation exits with highs in the lower 40s. Next week, we'll warm back into the upper 40s by Monday with more sunshine.
