Tracking nearing rain chances to end the weekend
TONIGHT: Temperatures will fall quickly with sunset this evening, despite a light southerly breeze. Clear skies, and a light breeze will allow for temperatures to drop into the 30s by sunrise. Most of the night will be clear, but high clouds will be increasing through the early morning, potentially limiting our view of the sunrise.
TOMORROW: We'll start with some high clouds but they thicken through the day, making for a mostly cloudy day. Rain will try to work in through Sunday afternoon, but it will have to fight some dry air in place. However, rain is likely to materialize by the late evening as better moisture continues to work in. Temperatures should remain warm on Sunday, near Saturday's highs, in the mid-to-upper 50s.
EXTENDED: The rain that works in Sunday night will become widespread overnight into Monday morning, as a center of low pressure works by just to the south. It's a cold rain, with highs on Monday in the upper 40s. Rain will be off and on all day on Monday, and not dry up until as soon as Tuesday afternoon. This will bring anywhere from a quarter of an inch to an inch or more of rain to folks from the north to the south respectively. From here, we remain cool, with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s through the week. We're looking partly cloudy and dry Wednesday and Thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving is forecast to start in the high 20s and end in the mid-40s by the afternoon. It will be chilly, in the 30s after sunset. By Friday we're watching the arrival of another low pressure system. This will likely leave most of Friday dry, as arrival is trending towards the overnight hours into Saturday. Rain chances will linger well into Saturday, where highs are forecast in the low 40s.
