Tracking the last warm day this week and possibly this month

TODAY: Thursday is the last warm day this week, and potentially this month. With sunshine and a light southerly breeze, we hit 70 on Wednesday. Our air being incredibly dry yesterday helped temperatures warm quickly. Things are different today, as we'll have more wind bringing in more moist, but also warmer air. This should just about balance out, to put temperatures right back into the upper 60s and low 70s for highs today.

TONIGHT: South winds will generate clouds ahead of a cold front that arrives overnight. The front passes largely with no rainfall, but a few sprinkles are possible, especially in the hours between midnight and sunrise.

EXTENDED: Starting in the 40s Friday morning, the most impactful feature of this front will be the temperature change as we only reach 50s through midday before temperatures start to fall again. This is despite a sunny sky for most of Friday. Saturday will be bright, but cool, with highs in the 50s. Sunday is cool, but clouds increase through the day, and a chance for showers return after sunset. This is tied to a low pressure that will pass just south of us on Monday. Widespread showers are likely on Monday, before tapering off Tuesday morning. It will be a cold rain, with highs in the 40s on Monday, but it all falls as liquid precipitation, keeping winter weather out of the discussion for now. Daily highs remain in the 40s through Wednesday, and likely below average (around 54 as of today) through the rest of the week.
