Tracking November-like air ahead of a slightly warmer trend
TODAY: Thursday is the beginning of our cooler trend. Temperatures will settle into the 40s this morning, with north winds overnight. Continued north winds and clouds will keep highs in the 50s. Rain is not far to our south today, but we will stay dry with abundant dry air below any moisture aloft.
TONIGHT: Temperatures will fall into the 30s tonight, with clearing skies by sunrise. High pressure will move in from the west, keeping a breeze from the north.
EXTENDED: Friday will see more sunshine, but also a generally cooler air mass continuing to move in. This should keep highs in the 50s. Winds will relax as high pressure centers over head Friday night. This, plus mostly clear skies overnight, should allow temperatures to plummet to freezing early Saturday morning. We will add clouds, but possibly not until early Saturday morning. We'll be partly cloudy Saturday, with highs in the 50s. It's at this point that our winds will slowly shift back to a southerly source. This puts us back in the 60s by Sunday afternoon. Sunday is dry and in the 60s, which will be common place early next week. We look to stay mild and dry through Wednesday.
