Tracking a chilly Friday morning, quiet weekend ahead

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy but gradually clearing by morning. Lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and chilly with highs in the upper 50s.

EXTENDED:  Clouds hold for much of the night, but eventually start clearing out by morning as high pressure builds in. That will allow temperatures to dip into the upper 30s by the start of Friday but give us more sunshine in the afternoon. We'll start the weekend off cold on Saturday as lows drop to near freezing, with clouds starting to move in by afternoon as a disturbance rolls by to our north. Clouds keep temperatures in the mid-30s on Sunday morning, with more sunshine expected during the day. Next week, upper high pressure sends temperatures into the 60s with very little rain in the forecast until late next week.
