Tracking near record highs tomorrow, cool down coming

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild with lows near 60 degrees.

TOMORROW: Warm and windy early with highs near 80. Clouds increasing and perhaps a sprinkle as the cold front slides through in the evening. Temperatures falling by late afternoon.

EXTENDED: Tonight will be mild with temperatures warmer than our daily average highs, around 60. Tomorrow is breezy with the warm front to our north to start the day as highs reach the upper 70s to low 80s, but the cold front slides south by late afternoon into the evening. The record high tomorrow is 81, set back in 2005. The cold front will bring a few clouds, but the lack of moisture will really limit much rain, perhaps a few sprinkles at night for the southern half of the area. We're cooler and breezy for Thursday as temperatures top out in the mid-upper 50s. We'll end the week and head into the weekend with more sun and seasonable highs in the upper 50s to around 60. A disturbance could bring more clouds on Sunday, but rain chances look low for this as we'll need to see how it plays out over the next few days. Next week is trending warmer than normal and largely dry.
