Tracking fire weather conditions Thursday, warmer end to the week

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and not as cold with lows near the freezing mark.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the upper 50s. Low humidity and gusty winds could create dangerous fire weather conditions. Avoid open burning.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a chilly night but we'll be more than 10 degrees warmer in some spots thanks to cloud cover and south winds as temperatures fall to near the freezing mark by Thursday morning. Tomorrow is breezy with low humidity, creating fire weather conditions during the day. We'll be messaging to avoid any open burning. Highs reach the upper 50s Thursday and low 60s Friday with clouds returning by the weekend as a front sets up to our north. That could bring a few showers overnight Saturday, but measurable rain isn't likely with that feature. Both Saturday and Sunday will be seasonably warm with highs in the upper 60s. Sunday night into Monday, another disturbance could bring a few showers but we'll have a better shot with a front that arrives between Monday night and Tuesday. Behind the front, we'll cool into the mid-50s with a stronger low pressure system entering by Wednesday. That will bring another round of showers with temperatures in the low to mid-50s.
