Tracking a beautiful end to the week with a breezy Saturday

TONIGHT: Gradually decreasing clouds with lows in the upper 40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and beautiful with highs in the lower 70s.

EXTENDED: Clouds have started to work their way out in the wake of low pressure to our northeast, and we'll gradually clear out overnight with lows falling back into the mid-upper 40s. Tomorrow will be bright and a bit warmer as temperatures rise into the lower 70s. We'll start the weekend on a nice note as a dry front works through, giving us gusty northwest winds and sunshine during the day on Saturday. We'll be a bit cooler on Sunday with clouds rolling in late in the day, but the afternoon stays dry with highs in the mid-upper 60s. A weak disturbance could bring a few showers overnight Sunday into Monday, but high pressure keeps us dry and mild Monday. The jet stream begins to turn more southwesterly over the region by mid-week, sending several more intense disturbances our way between Tuesday and Thursday. We can expect rounds of rain and a few storms with rain amounts between 1-2" total. High temperatures remain in the 70s through Wednesday. A front slides east on Friday, bringing cooler temperatures to close out the week into next weekend.
