Tracking seasonable air and plenty of dry time ahead

TODAY: Starting chilly, Tuesday will end mild, with abundant sunshine and a south wind by the afternoon. Temperatures will reach to near 70, but remain in the upper 60s for many.

TONIGHT: Clouds will increase after midnight, with increasing atmospheric flow from the south. This will set us up for a warmer night with lows only falling into the mid-40s.

EXTENDED: We don't see rain chances again until Wednesday night. Wednesday looks dry and mostly cloudy, ahead of a cold front that arrives in the evening. This will bring a chance at light showers around the dinner hour, but only up to a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, with many seeing a trace at best, especially in the west. Wednesday is mild, with highs in the 70s. Behind the front, highs settle in the 60s Thursday and Friday with increasing sunshine both days. A quick moving trough to our east may influence us with a few clouds Saturday, but the forecast for now remains dry and mild, with a high forecast near 70. Similar weather is expected Sunday into Monday.
