Tracking a slightly warmer Tuesday before a slight cool down

Today: Afternoon highs climb into the upper 60s as winds remain out of the southwest at 5-10 mph. Skies remain mostly sunny thanks to a high pressure system just to our west.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-40s as winds remain out of the southwest at 5-10 mph. Skies become partly cloudy.

Extended: A cold front passes through the region Wednesday afternoon/ evening leading to the possibility of light scattered showers. Highs climb into the lower 70s as winds remain out of the southwest before the approaching front arrives Wednesday. The second half of the week into the weekend sees highs at or just below 70 degrees with dry conditions.
