Tracking a few showers and gusty winds Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the mid-upper 40s.

TOMORROW: Increasing clouds and breezy with temperatures in the lower 70s. A few showers possible by late afternoon through tomorrow night as a cold front sweeps east.

EXTENDED: Tonight is clear but not as cool thanks to that south breeze with lows falling into the mid-upper 40s. We can expect more cloud cover tomorrow as a warm front lifts across the area, along with strong wind gusts up to 25 mph, sending temperatures into the mid-70s. A cold front quickly follows, bringing a few showers to the area by late afternoon into early evening. Less than 0.1" of rain is possible, and temperatures don't cool much behind the front. We'll see gusty winds continue into Thursday with temperatures still managing to reach the upper 60s. Friday and Saturday are similar as temperatures reach near 70 with plenty of sunshine. A few clouds are possible toward Sunday afternoon as a disturbance tries to move in from the southwest. Next week starts off slightly warmer than average and it looks like we will have at least two stronger storm systems that bring meaningful rain between late Tuesday night and Wednesday, and potentially next weekend.
