Tracking more sunshine, warmer temperatures this week

TONIGHT: Gradual clearing and chilly with breezy northwest winds up to 20 mph. Lows near 40 degrees.

TOMORROW: More sunshine with highs reaching the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: After a dreary weekend, sunshine gradually returns with clearing skies overnight into Monday morning. Upper winds try to shift to the southwest through mid-week, sending temperatures into the mid-60s through Tuesday. A warm front lifts through Mid-Missouri bringing a few more clouds and temperatures in the 70s on Wednesday. A trailing cold front could bring a few showers to the area between Wednesday night and Thursday, but measurable rain looks slim. The end of the week will feature quiet conditions with highs back into the upper 60s on Friday with sunshine expected through next weekend.
