Tracking warmer conditions today despite morning rain

This Afternoon: Sunshine returns after a soggy start, and southerly winds will still aid temperatures in reaching the 80s. Winds could gust up to 25 mph today.

Tonight: A stray shower is possible to the northeast but our area is expected to remain dry. Lows remain milder in the 50s.

Extended: Most of Thursday is likely dry as the best setup for rain moves north of Mid-MO. Still, on-and-off storms are possible with another warm day in store in the 80s. Better rainfall comes with a cold front late Thursday into Friday, with an inch or more rain possible. Showers likely clear out in time for Friday night football with chillier conditions settling in. More clouds and light showers are possible on Saturday with highs in the 50s.
