Tracking a warm Monday before mid-week rain and cool down

Today: Afternoon highs rise just below 90 degrees as winds continue out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. The UV Index climbs to a level six as skies remain mostly sunny.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 60s with mostly clear skies. Winds remain out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Tuesday sees an increase in the cloud cover with highs back into the upper 80s once again. Wednesday welcomes showers and storms as a cold front dives into the region. Showers and storms continue into early portions of Thursday before clearing east by Thursday afternoon. Highs decrease dramatically Thursday on due to winds switching back out of the north. Highs into the weekend cool into the mid to upper 60s with mostly sunny skies.
