Tracking a cool and dreary Wednesday
TODAY: A much cooler day is in store after nearing 90 on Tuesday. Wednesday brings widely scattered showers through the day, beginning in the southwest before sunrise, and slowly spreading to the north and east. Rain amounts are minimal, below a tenth of an inch for most, but this will have a great impact on temperatures. Both clouds shading us from the sun and evaporative cooling from rainfall will work together to keep temperatures near 70 for a high. Expect a dreary and fall like day.
TONIGHT: Clouds and showers linger overnight, keeping us mild. Temperatures fall into the low 60s.
EXTENDED: Thursday starts cloudy with a chance for showers, but sun and warmer temperatures return through the day. We'll reach near 80 both Thursday and Friday, with mostly dry conditions. Friday brings a chance for storms, but it appears rather isolated. Saturday starts dry, and with some sunshine, but we'll see a return of rain chances Saturday night. You should be able to enjoy plenty of dry time on Saturday ahead of this chance for storms, as it appears rain should hold off until after 7 p.m. In fact, our best chances for rain come during the overnight hours into Sunday morning. Temps on Saturday will climb into the 80s, before cooling into the mid-70s Sunday and early next week. Rain chances are sparse Monday and Tuesday, but not zero.
