Tracking mid-week cold front with showers

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the mid-80s with partly cloudy skies and spotty shower chances into southwestern portions of Mid-Missouri. Winds remain out of the south at 8-12 mph with gust up to 20 mph possible.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 60s with chances of lingering spotty showers in southwestern portions of Mid-Missouri. Winds remain out of the south at 4-8 mpg.

Extended: Wednesday sees more widespread shower and storm chances. Temperatures cool to the upper 70s with aid from increased cloud cover. Thursday looks to become drier with more chances of storms into this coming weekend as highs remain at or just below average.
