Tracking another foggy morning for some, beautiful Thursday ahead

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with lows in the upper 40s north to low 50s elsewhere. Thick river valley fog developing by daybreak.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with a couple patchy clouds. Highs in the mid-upper 70s.

EXTENDED: As temperatures once again dip to near the dew point under the influence of light winds and clear skies, we could see fog develop along river valleys through the morning. Otherwise it's a beautiful Thursday with highs in the upper 70s and plenty of sunshine. Clouds start to roll in on Friday afternoon and evening ahead of a cold front, but we should remain rain free on Friday night. Lows fall down to about 60 by Saturday morning. A few showers are possible early Saturday, but rain amounts should remain under a tenth of an inch. Still, spotty showers could be a nuisance if you have outdoor plans. Temperatures will be a bit cooler with highs in the low to mid-70s. The rest of the weekend is beautiful with highs in the upper 70s and sunshine. Next week will largely depend on the speed of Hurricane Lee that could keep the pattern locked in a bit longer over the Midwest. Temperatures are expected to rise into the low 80s early next week with a chance for rain by Wednesday.
