Tracking more clouds, patchy river fog on Friday morning
TONIGHT: Hazy skies diminish, but clouds gradually increase by morning. River fog developing early. Lows in the upper 50s to around 60.
TOMORROW: Clouds gradually decrease by late afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
EXTENDED: We'll see a bit of a wind shift to the northeast tonight, pushing Canadian wildfire smoke that has been making skies hazy today back to the west. That said, a weak disturbance will roll in late tonight into early tomorrow, and while we'll see increased cloud cover we likely won't get any rain from it thanks to dry air in place. Clouds gradually decrease into tomorrow afternoon and evening, leaving us comfortable and cool for evening plans. This weekend looks perfect with highs in the low 80s, sunshine, and lower humidity. Changes take place into next week as cooler air moves in from the north and a cold front approaches between Monday and Tuesday. That will bring a chance for scattered showers between Monday afternoon and Tuesday, however, we shouldn't expect more than a quarter of an inch or so. Behind the front, clouds gradually clear on Wednesday, leaving us with top temperatures in the lower 70s for much of the remainder of the week. The below average temperatures look to continue into next weekend as we can expect northwesterly jet stream winds.
