Tracking strong to severe storms tonight, and cooler temps

TODAY: I'm tracking humidity holding on, with temperatures in the low 90s and heat indexes getting into the low 100s across Missouri. Later on, a Weather Alert Day in effect from 5 PM tonight until 2 AM tomorrow morning. This comes with a cold front passing through mid-MO, bringing severe thunderstorms associated with 60 mph winds, 1" hail stones in diameter, and heavy downpours. This will pass through Columbia around 8-9 PM tonight.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking much cooler and drier conditions, with temperatures down in the low 80s, winds from the NW, and mostly sunny skies. Humidity will take a hit with the help of this cold front passing through today.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a mostly dry trend into the weekend, with temperatures staying in the low 80s, and mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies hanging on. Winds will be staying from the north, bringing us more cool and dry air into next week. As next week approaches, another cold front is trending to pass through Missouri once again, bringing more shower and storm chances. This also drops our temperatures into the high 70s to start the week.
