Tracking heat and increased humidity approaching Labor Day

TODAY: Moisture will already be noticeable today, and with hotter temperatures in the low 90s, the feels-like soars to the mid to upper 90s. Still, skies remain mostly clear and it'll be a good time to hit the pool.

TOMORROW: Clouds increase early Labor Day with even higher humidity. This could push the heat index up to 100 degrees, and also lend to an isolated storm in the afternoon. The overwhelming majority of the area stays dry so you won't need to cancel outdoor plans, but stay hydrated!

EXTENDED: Tuesday and Wednesday we'll see higher chances of rainfall with on-and-off scattered storms. This is associated with a cold front, so portions of Missouri could observe thunderstorms with this as well. After the passage of this cold front, temperatures will be dropping back down into the low 80s, and there will be some slight rain chances sticking around into the weekend.
