Tracking increasing humidity through the rest of Labor Day Weekend

TONIGHT: I'm tracking calm winds from the south at 5-10 mph. Skies will be clear to mostly clear, and temperatures will be dropping into the low 60s across mid-MO.

TOMORROW: Chances for early morning patchy fog in our southern counties come with moisture being transported from the south. I'm tracking temperatures climbing into the low 90s, and with humidity increasing, feels like temperatures will be reaching into the mid 90s. Skies staying mostly sunny through the majority of the day, then in the later afternoon and evening hours clouds will start to build.

EXTENDED: On Labor Day, I'm tracking clouds continuing to build across mid-MO as humidity continues to increase. I'm tracking temperatures in the low 90s once again, but because of this humidity, the heat index has a chance to reach up into the 100-105 degree range. There are chances for isolated to scattered rain chances through the afternoon, but these are trending to be brief showers. Tuesday and Wednesday we'll see higher chances of potential rainfall, with the highest chance coming Wednesday. This is associated with a cold front, so portions of Missouri could observe thunderstorms with this as well. After the passage of this cold front, temperatures will be dropping back down into the low 80s, and there will be some slight rain chances sticking around into the weekend.
