Tracking scattered storms through the evening, and a cooler week ahead
TONIGHT: I'm tracking scattered rain and storm chances in the afternoon lasting through the evening, that could bring heavy rainfall to central and southeastern MO with the possibility of localized flooding. Humidity will be increasing through the afternoon and evening hours, with dewpoints and temperatures becoming very close right before sundown. Keeping that in mind, it looks to be a muggy evening for mid-MO with these rain chances.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking rain chances quickly exiting early Sunday morning, but humidity remains, and there is a possibility to observe fog before 8 am. Clouds will be mostly cloudy to start the morning, but entering the early afternoon hours, clouds quickly decrease, becoming partly cloudy. Humidity decreases as well after 8 am, and temperatures will reach the high 70s by mid-afternoon.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking a work week ahead that brings a daily trend of lows dropping into the low to mid 60s every morning after sunrise, and highs reaching the low to mid 80s by mid-afternoon. Skies almost every day are tracking to be partly cloudy to mostly sunny, and humidity levels will be lower than what mid-MO observed last week. Tuesday, Missouri could see another frontal passage, bringing very slight chances for rainfall, and possibly keeping temperatures at bay for a couple more days. By next weekend, I'm tracking temperatures climbing back into the average range for this time of the year.
