Tracking mostly sunny skies with below average highs

Today: Early morning fog begins to lift after 9 am across much of the region giving way to mostly sunny skies. Highs warm into the lower 80s.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 60s as skies remain mostly clear.

Extended: A high pressure ridge remains overhead leading to mostly sunny sky conditions throughout the next week. Highs continue to increase heading towards Sunday back into the upper 90s with dewpoints reaching into the lower 70s. This will lead to the possibility of the heat index surpassing the triple digits mark once again.
