Tracking a clear Saturday with more storms to end the weekend

TODAY: Scattered showers and storms are possible through the early morning, but hot conditions are still expected to follow. Highs climb to the upper 80s as rain shifts south this afternoon.

TOMORROW: Storms return much of Sunday, possibly stronger to severe at times. Timing is still highly variable, but the first round of stronger storms is possible around sunrise. Weaker rain will be ongoing the rest of the day, and another round of severe storms is looking possible late Sunday evening.

EXTENDED: Drier and cooler weather settles in Monday, with sunshine and low 80s forecast. This will be the picture for Mid-MO for possibly the entire workweek as highs remain in the 80s.
