Tracking strong to severe storm chances Friday evening

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures that will be right around average for this time of the year, and Mid-Missouri has slight chances for isolated activity throughout the morning/early afternoon hours. The main concern is tonight, where we have issued a Weather Alert Day from 6 PM until midnight as a strong storm complex moves through the state. The main threats as of now are strong winds and hail stones.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking lingering isolated activity that decrease as the day moves on. Temperatures will still be right around average for this time of the year in the high 80s and low 90s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another chance for showers and storms through Sunday, where another cold front pushes through mid-Missouri. As for temperatures, after this second cold front pushes through, they will be dropping into the low 80s through the first half of the week. Along with that, I'm tracking mostly sunny skies to start the week as well. Temperatures warm up into the mid 80s towards the back half of the week, with some more very slim rain chances scattered throughout.
