Tracking morning fog before a sunny afternoon

Today: Thursday morning starts off with widespread fog across the region before clearing into the second half of the morning giving way to mostly sunny skies. Highs warm into the mid-80s. Winds switch from the northwest back from the southwest late this afternoon at 5-10 MPH.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-60s with chances of showers developing heading into late overnight/ early morning hours. Skies become mostly cloudy.

Extended: Friday gives way to partly cloudy skies after early morning isolated showers/ storms. Highs climb just above 90 degrees. Saturday and Sunday sees increased chances of scattered showers and storms. Next week begins cooler following a passing cold front Monday morning back into the lower 80s.
