Tracking more chances for possible widespread storms and cooler temperatures ahead
TONIGHT: I'm tracking low chances for isolated storms going into the rest of the night after this destructive storm system swept through mid-Missouri. These isolated storms have little chance to become severe, but if they do, main threats would once again be strong winds.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking the possibility for a similar system to what we saw today to move through later in the morning and in the early afternoon hours. There is still some uncertainty, but most solutions are pointing towards a similar setup, meaning we could see some strong winds with this system plus some smaller hail. After that, we'll observe a general clearing, with some isolated rain and storm chances spread through mid-Missouri. Temperatures will be slightly cooler in the low 90s.
EXTENDED: Throughout the majority of the week, I'll be tracking on and off rain chances with temperatures staying in the low 90s through the first half of the week. As Wednesday and Thursday approaches, temperatures will be climbing briefly back into the high 90s before another cooldown entering the weekend.
