Tracking storms to start the morning and another muggy day ahead

TODAY: I'm tracking storm chances throughout the early morning hours, mostly staying in the south of the viewing area, if not further south. As of right now the severe threat is low, but if anything does turn severe, the main threats will be hail and strong winds. As these storms move out of the viewing area, we'll see skies start to clear up, and temperatures will be working their way back up into the 90s. Dewpoints will assist in making it feel humid and hot outside today. There could be redevelopment in storms during the afternoon hours, but chances are looking much lower.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking another rain chance in the morning hours, this time with little to no threat of severe activity. Temperatures will be slightly cooler in the mid 80s, and skies will start to clear up into the evening hours.

EXTENDED: Moving into your weekend, I'm tracking temperatures starting to warm back up into the low 90s by Sunday, and partly cloudy skies with the exception of slight rain chances on Sunday. As of right now, the first half of next week is tracking to be dry and warm, as temperatures keep climbing into the mid and upper 90s. There are some small rain chances spread through the back half of the week, but confidence as of right now is relatively low. The main concern as of right now for next week, especially the back half, is temperatures nearing the 100s.
