Tracking morning storms and warmer temperatures

THIS MORNING: Isolated storms bringing small hail and flash flooding are possible early morning before 10 AM, and areas that see rainfall may also experience fog. Conditions clear up by late morning but rain could return later in the day.

TODAY: The early afternoon looks drier, with hot conditions returning as the feels-like approaches the upper 90s. Scattered nonsevere storms return by dinnertime and continue into tonight.

EXTENDED: Thursday will be another warm day with a chance for morning rain and an isolated strong storm. We trend drier late Thursday into Friday behind a weak cold front that may be just enough to dry us completely on Friday and drop highs into the 80s. Chances for rain over the weekend look low, with mostly dry weather expected through early next week. Temperatures will start to climb into the 90s as soon as Sunday.
